Forever In Our Hearts

High Chief (Dr.) O.B. Lulu-Briggs, OON DCF DSSRS
May 22, 1930 – December 27, 2018

By Dr. (Mrs.) Seinye O.B. Lulu-Briggs

I borrow the words of my brother the Apostle, “Oh why does God love me so much? Among the many notable family members and friends of Opuda, God chose to honor me by causing me to witness the passing of a saint.
One moment Opuda was here,  said his last words ‘Time,’ and the next moment, he was not.”

Apostle Zilly Aggrey, Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana, December 27, 2018

High Chief (Dr) Olu Benson Lulu-Briggs, OON, DCF, DSSRS, was not a man known for half measures. Neither was he a man known for wilting under pressure of circumstance. Forthright, Bold, resourceful, affable and hardworking, the renowned statesman blazed a trail of glory and  dignity throughout his life – enriching his environment and the lives of all those lucky enough to come in contact with him.

High Chief Lulu-Briggs’s life was an exciting mixture of being born great and achieving greatness and this probably led to the string of victories that sign-posted his 88-year sojourn on earth.

Blessed be God who gave us our Opuda, such a beloved husband, a loving  father, Grandpa and BIG DADDY to his grandchildren, great grandchildren and the many others that adopted him as their father.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Seinye O.B. Lulu-Briggs, daughter of Mr Ernest Francis Agbani Briggs and Mrs. Darling E.F. Briggs (nee William West) and his children, who are:
